Looking at the size of mobile Applications these days getting us worry with our smartphone storage. Sometimes not only apps, even just an enhancement can eat up a lot of space. Android is one of the latest OS that have many big sized applications.
Actually it is not necessary be a problem if you are rocking Android 2.2 or later that can store applications to SD card. But, unfortunately now there are still many older Android users that cannot install application on SD card.
Many experiments taken, trying to lower the size of an app. The guys over at Swype have made their new Swype keyboard app smaller by one third, from 10MB to just 2.5MB. It is still fully functioning, only they exclude some languages.
You can have this smaller size Swype keyboard app for your Android by just by opening Swype installer on your phone then follow with the update confirmation and process, the next thing you know you already have your Swype updated.
Perhaps many EVO 4G users has experienced Swype problems after updating their Android firmware to the latest 3.70.651.1 version, a simple way around it is to uninstall the beta running on your phone, gave it a restart and you are ready to go.
